I don’t see the problem. Four stadiums were nominated and Tiger Stadium was one. All four got a nod from one of the talking heads.

Cliff notes please fricko

1 guy played at ND, said ND
1 guy says TS
1 guy says rose bowl
1 guy gives LSU props but since he never played a game there, he'd have to say Oregon
Don't see the prob here

Norte Dame belongs nowhere on that list.

At the end, since they included 2 Pac-12 stadiums in the discussion, they said something like "Tiger Stadium's great, but the Pac-12 wins this one." They sounded like they were afraid to give the SEC props throughout.

Anyone else notice that the last shot of TS with the overhead view of the field was of Texas A&M's band?

Yeah, CHeerWine got it. The very last thing said was weak.
Why even have a discussion like this if all involved have not been to the 4 stadiums?

Been to all 4...not sure how the hell the Rose Bowl made the list. I know about the tradition and all that shite but it simply wasn't that great a game day experience.
ND is actually a pretty cool place to attend a game.
I've been to a few Oregon games and I was initially taken aback by how loud it is there. Like, SEC loud. Not a super great tailgate experience but it's electric once you're inside.
I'm biased but top-to-bottom, I really think that LSU is tops out of the 4 they listed.

They had the wrong stadiums- Should have been LSU and Georgia or Tennessee for SEC and Washington for PAC 10, Michigan and Penn State. Oregon, ND, and Rose Bowl- Boring

Autzen Stadium is definitely on my short list of must-see stadiums. I've been to a handful of stadiums, and LSU easily has the best of what I've seen.

DenverTiger,
Can you share anything else about Autzen? I've heard a lot, but don't trust Oregon fan to be objective.. like LSU fan. ha.
Who were they playing when you went? Rank? Year?

I felt it was cool because of the tradition, touchdown Jesus, etc. The campus was amazing.
But, the stadium atmosphere that I experienced did not come close to Tiger Stadium.

Saw the Ducks dismantle Tenn last year. UT looked good for about 15m and then the Oregon offense caught fire and it was lights out.
Watched them lose to Stanford a couple years ago and it was bedlam. Close game, all the marbles type stuff. Really fun. And I saw them demolish Washington that same year.
They were ranked high in every game.
The field is right on top of the players, student section is big and they're loud (like every respectable student sec) but not nearly as fun as LSU's or, say, Penn St's. Weather can sucks (I've had good luck all 3x) but apparently the mist and rain just seems to get everyone more fired up.
Band is ok...fun like Rice rather than huge and disciplined like LSU's. People are pretty friendly but again, not a super impressive tailgate. The town afterward is a blast. Lots of good bars, places to eat, etc.
Not the most beautiful facility (UW, CU, etc) or the most impressive edifice (Tiger Stadium, Tenn) but they are f'ing LOUD. SEC loud. Def makes it fun.

Agree on a few. But I like Autzen and Beaver Stadium. Very different but both nice and loud and very decent game days. Not sure 'boring' does either justice. UW is cool for the views...on even a reasonably clear day you can see Rainier in all it's glory. The boat arrivals are added character. Good crowd noise as well.

I didn't get the same impression. Lame tailgating and OK inside. Nowhere near Tiger Stadium in my opinion.
