SEC at a glance

Besides Fournette. They don't give LSU much credit. Matter of fact, I think they try to make us look bad.

there's a lot of unknowns for LSU. that's fair.

but there's also a lot of talent waiting to prove itself

I understand that, but besides the piece about fornette, they just talked shite bout LSU. I hope we take to everyone of them deep this year.

Opinions. Meh, look what was said about AU after going winless in 2012. Then played for all the marbles in 2013.

I like how they chose the photo of the Christians who wear the cross on their heart to illustrate how LSU has the most marinated fans.

It really isn't about disrespecting LSU. It's just that nobody believes that any program could possibly lose such a huge group of NFL ready seniors and still come close to competing in our conference.

If the staff can develop a championship team this year then there will be no doubt where the best of the best coach and play NCAA Football.

Reloading is not quite what comes to mind when our Tigers are developing five or six SEC caliber starters out of kids who graduated HS less than 6 months ago.

Reloading seems more like what happens when a senior starter who has left for the NFL is replaced by a RS junior or even a RS senior who has been diligently waiting for his turn to shine.

This LSU staff is pioneering some alpha shite right here in front of our very eyes and I am trying like hell not to blink and miss something awesome.

Marinated just means soaked in a sauce. Which in terms of football just means most equated with the crazed, all out feel of the stadium. It doesn't automatically insuate drunkeness. While not everyone in the stadium acts Christlike, the overall vibe the Posse portrays is Death Valley at it's core.

Did 2012 not happen? Did we not lose a bunch of people and still win 9 games? Offensive talent can be replaced pretty quickly. It's the defense that we needed to stay. Outside of the DTs on defense, we are really good at every other position. Like I said in another thread, we don't need even a good passing game as we didn't have one in 2012 or 2010, and it's not like we threw for a lot in 2011 (little over 2000 yards in 12 games). We have the backfield and OL to win ten in the regular season. MSU, Ole Miss, Bama at home. We have rebuilding UF, and nearly the same Auburn team away, but I think we split them. Wisky to start in Houston (basically another home game). By the time we've taken our bye, the DT position should be set, and the passing game should be adequate with Harris getting a feel for the game.

This article was definitely insinuating drunkenness. They quoted Rohan Davey saying "You can smell the bourbon."
