small group of guys, we have been hunting 340 acres that we own. so never formed club or worried about hunting club insurance.

We are in process of leasing additional acreage adjacent to our property, so need to form club and get ins. Need recommendations for:
1. best/easiest way to form club, &
2. best/easiest/cheapest insurance? (We already have $1M general liability covering our property - looking at La Forestry assoc. for ins. at this point)

Thanks in advance

Well this all depends... are the club members owners of the club, or are they simply leasing the rights to hunt int he club?

Another vote for Forest Landowners Association. I lease land all the time, and deal with them, and interestingly, Alabama Forest Landowners Association.

Quality Deer Management Association in Georgia. They insure the club we started about 6 years ago plus the land owners @ 1,000,000 for 500 plus acres for about 250 per year. You get an outstanding magazine too.
