quote:

One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Brown’s skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the family’s request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.

quote:

Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.
quote:

The bullets did not appear to have been shot from very close range because no gunpowder was present on his body.

not looking good for the shot in the back theory.

edit: Although there is one bullet that went in the top of the head that is going to be analyzed in detail, ans is supposedly the kill shot.

How the shot directly to the front of the face wasn't a kill shot I have no idea.

All shots all are one side of the body. What does that mean?

So this means he was moving towards the officer when he was shot?

I need a conclusion here....

Does sound like the cop, and the video eyewitness report, about the guy charging them has a lot of merit...

Decided to read the article:

quote:

“This one here looks like his head was bent downward,” he said, indicating the wound at the very top of Mr. Brown’s head. “It can be because he’s giving up, or because he’s charging forward at the officer.”

quote:

“People have been asking: How many times was he shot? This information could have been released on Day 1,” Dr. Baden said in an interview after performing the autopsy.
Finally a little sanity.

For some reason, in my minds eye, I never pictured Dr. Baden to be that tall.

the thing I don't get about this, how the frick did the shot to the eye not kill him if it hit him before that shot to the top of the head. Big Mike was a tank.

The cop needs more work in the range. He is pulling his shots to the left.

Ehh depends on what the bullet hit behind the eye. The eye, in and of itself, is not going ti kill you necessarily.

So running at the cop? Major to top of head as he was falling?

It could.
The only conclusion is all shots came from the front. i.e., Brown's accomplice was lying.

That the officer had shitty aim.

The cop could have wanted to shoot him in the arm or leg in a non life threatening way. After 3 or 4 times he may have had no other choice.

Or shitty aim.

For the head shot I think he was falling forward and the officer was still firing on instinct.

It seems to me the officer was doing all he could to slow him down without a fatality.
