Recomendations for Ft. Worth

OK - We all know I am kin'da weird.
Here we go.
About 40 years ago, we lived in Ft. Worth for maybe three years. One weekend, we were driving around in the general area of Colonial Country Club and stopped at an "eats place" for lunch. I ordered what turned out to be the best country fried steak I have ever eaten.
Every CFS I have ever eaten since then has been a disappointment (falling sadly short of the nirvana breaded and fried piece of Ft. Worth beef).
Here is my question:
Do you know a good place in Ft. Worth to buy a country fried steak?
We are headed there in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for advice on where we should eat. I'll take bars, BBQ, Burger joints, Mexican, steaks, sit down, Dairy Queens, whatever.
Top of my list would be the best country fried steak you ever had in Ft. Worth, TX
Be a hero and help me out.

I'm a big fan of anything Chef Tim Love cooks so The Lonesome Dove Bistro for nice sit down, Love Shack for burgers and The Wood Shed Smokehouse or Coopers (not Love's) for BBQ.

You might find something in this thread.

I go about once a year, but I stay with friends and we don't eat out all that much because I love going to Central Market and cooking while I'm there. If I hear from my friend, I'll ask, but she's away right now.
