Is your net worth greater than $56,335?

Net worth at the 50th percentile (median) totaled $56,335 in 2013. Which is down over 31K (36%) in the last 10 years. In 2003, the average net worth was $87,992.

He said net worth, not income. You don't survive on your net worth.

these polls, or whatever they are, are indicators of what? my income is in the top 5% in the US, but I'm just a worker bee, not monetarily "rich" at all

Depends on how old you are. My net worth is way the hell above that, but I've also been around awhile.

Don't confuse this with income.
