Had my draft yesterday and did not pick up a TE until the very end. I drafted Antonio Gates, but I'm not sure he'll play well at all. I'm considering picking up Tyler Eifert instead. Any thoughts?

I ended up in same boat and have Gates. I fully expect him to be serviceable in a PPR.

Eiffert is another one to watch this preseason if/when he gets on the field. He may line up in slot more with Marvin out.

I'm still rolling with Gates on MNF week one.

after the first 8-9 TE's taken, there's nothing much left at all.

Eifert, Ertz, Kelce, Green are all solid late options if available.

I like Ladarius Green and Tyler Eifert. I'm in the same boat as you. I was actually just gonna draft Ladarius as late as I could but someone got him before I could. So I went with Antonio. I really really like Green's chances this year. If he's available, get him and dont look back.

Travis Kelce. He's going to be the go to TE when it comes to receiving. They don't really have a number 2 wr either so he could see a ton of action

I would keep an eye out for Jace Amaro. He's more of a receiver than a TE and not many people know about him. Even though he led the FBS last year at Texas Tech. Runs a quick 40. Tall and rangy. And killed my Sun Devils

I'll be drafting Green and Amaro in my league. If all goes to hell I'll take a chance on Amaro and Austin-Safarius Jenkins.

I would have agreed before camp, but Amaro had gotten terrible press so far. New York Post wrote last week that Amaro was dropping passes "like it was a requirement."

He seemed alright last night. I don't think the Jets will be able to keep him on the bench. Huge body and decent run blocking ability. Maybe they'll utilize him more for blocking, but he will definitely be on the field. He'll probably be available on waivers too though so it shouldn't be too hard to pick him up if he does burst out.
