A tidbit from a Sporting News article - "The Badgers lost four games last season by an average of less than seven points. Is a year long enough to elevate Wisconsin into the nation’s elite?"

Most LSU questions on TD are about who will be LSU's starting QB? If there's one nagging question of the Tigers it would be this. Is LSU ready to regain its elite status of DL university? Wisconsin is better than TCU, maybe a lot better according to the SN article, their Oline certainly is.

Coach Miles stated that they will start preparing for Wisconsin this week. Tiger fans better start preparing too, this game won't be a walk in the park. Such a tough start comes with risks, but LSU's Dline needs this sort of test early, its great preparation for their SEC schedule and for regaining their elite status of DL univeristy. You won't earn it playing cupcakes. I suspect the Tigers D are eager for this opportunity. And its almost here.

LSU has a QB controversy?

Isn't wisconsin condsidering starting their former starting strong safety at QB bc he can run?

Doesn't bode well for their internal opinion of their offensive line or trust in their veteran starting QB.

Our defense shows up and communicates as well as the Chief has implied... it will be hard for them to score.

LSU fans keep thinking this is a walk in the park. LSU could very easily start the season 0-1 if they don't watch out. Wisconsin is better than TCU and this is a totally different LSU team. Could be interesting.

Yeah we are scared of Wisconsin. They have no qb, bunch of freshman WR's which everyone is knocking us for. We have better talent at those positions though. They also lose their defensive front 7 pretty much.

Our athletes will shine and our run game will destroy them.

Dont be a wuss and be scared

This one won't be close. Tiger OLine dominates the game. LSU rolls to an impressive win.

They have to replace their entire front seven. I doubt we'll have a problem running the ball which will take all the pressure off our young quarterback. It won't be a blow out but it think it'll be a comfortable 10 or so point win.

Not that I agree with the OP, but Wisconsin lost to some pretty good teams.

9/14 - at Arizona State L 30-32
9/28 - at Ohio State L 24-31
11/30 - Penn State L 24-31
1/1 - South Carolina L 24-34

Lets be real here. Wiscyu won't be abnle to handle the extreme pounding that D Willie will lay on them over and over every time a new hole is found in their young front 7.

Breaking news, LSU lost most of its skilled players on offense, if there was ever a need for LSU's Dline to step up, that time is now. They leaned too much on the offense last year, time to repay some dues.

I want to see Chavis dial up some weekside/strongside blitz from our linebackers. That would be lethal with a corner coming off the edge

And Wisconsin has an inexperienced front seven going up against a veteran (and talented) offensive line. Both teams have question marks, but LSU has more talent.
