Why do some of you post from the bar/club?

Anyone who can probably answer this question is likely passed out, but it remains.
Are you young people so attached to your phones and addicted to constant attention that you can't even go out at night with real people without the aid of a virtual crutch ?

I leave my phone at home on purpose when I go to the bar so I am forced to meet people and don't sit around dicking around on here.

i know what you mean, but it really doesnt bother me, if someone is happy stuck in front of their phone instead of face to face interactions, good for them.
i bring my phone with me everywhere i go, its become habit
but i dont have to be on it all the time, and even when i do use it and im at a bar, (which is rare that im at a bar these days) i still interact with my surroundings

I dont get why people aremon their phones a lot of places. I saw a family of six at a restaurant yesterday. kids were ages about 8 to 16. all six (four kids, parents) were on their phones entire meal. never said more than two words t ok each other.

My 16y/o sister is always on the phone. She's a lost cause at this point.

I'm not young, but I do go to bars and play on my celly while barring. It makes me look kinda important.
