new ps4 firmware 2.0 featuring share play

This new feature could be huge. It could essentially let u play a co-op game with your friends while in different locations and only one of u actually having the game.

Remember all the talk before the new gen systems were released about them doing away with 2nd hand used games. Supposedly Game developers didn't want people sharing games and buying used games because it affects their sales. Well if this share play feature is true then they really went in a totally opposite direction.

If I understand it correctly, then only 1 of you can actually control/play the game while the other person has to sit and watch.
So you can invite your friend to take over for you while you watch him play your game, but you can't actually play simultaneously with him

I'm pretty sure you can play coop 2 at the same time, but I could be wrong.

yea you can play i believe, but i think i heard where it is only 60 minutes

Yea, it's only 60 minutes at a time. No word on if there is a limit on how many times you can do this in a day, but some believe that you could just essentially go the full hour and then re-engage the 2nd player again.

This is a good way to let you demo a game. The days of demo's need to come back in some form. this can be one of them. The beta developers have been doing can be another.
