I drafted Doug Martin 9th in a standard 10 team league. Even before his injury, he did terribly in those 7 games I believe.

Will he return to his rookie form and have a top 5 RB season?

Sorry, but I don't like him. Especially at 1st round value. Even his rookie year, he had a few games where he blew up that pushed him to top 5. I think at 9th and 12th pick two of DT88/Dez/AJ/Marshall that are available is a better play. Good luck though, maybe he can work it out.

He will certainly get a lot of opportunities with Sims getting hurt. He better step up.

9th might have been a bit of a reach.

Yea, he fell to the second round in my draft so I took him. It's a make or break year for him.

What is the verdict on Doug Martin?

Better now with Sims out the picture. Late 2nd round player. Will he have a top 5 RB season? Not likely as Rainey and James are still there. Can he have a top 10 season? Maybe.

At 9th of a 10 team league, I'll assume it went something like this:

1. McCoy
2. Charles
3. Forte
4. ADP
5. Mega
6. Lacy
7. Graham
8. DT88
9. Assuming none of the above were available because all of them are more established and on better teams, I think Dez/AJ/Marshall/Peyton/Brees/Rodgers will outperform Martin this year. If it's PPR, add Murray/Julio to that mix even though I think 1st round value is too much for those two.

I am not a fan, but Lovie will run the shite out of the ball. He will get touches.

You messed up by taking him in the 1st IMO. Have to assume most of the tier one WRs, and a few of Murray/Lynch/Ball/Bell/Foster/Gio were available. And I'd take all of them and ore before Martin.
