Well...something is only as valuable as someone is willing to pay. They could be valuable now...what if shite gets bad? Think anyone is going to give 2 fricks about a cartoon book? Rubbish

That "cartoon book" is the birth of one of the most legendary cultural and pop culture icons in history. Superman is known worldwide even in 3rd world shitholes. It's a product of WW2 and the creation of two Jewish people. It's not a surprise it's worth that much.

Like I said...if the economy ever gets bad...like depression bad or worse..only useful commodities will be worth a trade. Of course...I could be wrong.
I imagine things like tools..land/crops...skilled labor..gas..guns etc will be worth a lot at that point. Comic books? I don't know
