What do people who frequent the outdoors and those activities surrounding it use for a portable GPS device?

Thanks if you have any input.

I just use a basic E-trex handheld. Well under $100, durable, accurate, and lasts forever on lithium AA's.

Used my phone for geocaching. Works good enough. Puts you within 10' or so.

Kids enjoy it when we are out of town.

E-trees...cheap, simple to operate, and every bit as accurate as anything else on the market....

I use the Navionics app on my phone along with google earth. I also carry my Garmin handheld that's waterproof, it has all my routes in it plus the batteries last much longer than phone's
