No Brees tonight

It's "extremely unlikely" that Saints quarterback Drew Brees plays Friday against the Titans, reports ESPN.com. Brees is recovering from a strained oblique and has yet to participate in team drills.
Look for Brees to get a taste of preseason action Aug. 23 at Indianapolis.
I'm sure most of us already knew this.

I don't watch pre-season to see how the starters will perform.

It wouldn't bother me if Brees didn't play again until September 7th!

Ryan Griffin's campaign to solidify #2 qb spot continues tonight.

Used to know this team but now I can't name a player.
Titans either.
Titans either.

I know it's mostly just BS to let the backups play, but I have to admit it aggravates me.
I normally keep my magazines, but I just threw out the Sports Illustrated issue with Brees on the cover, the one with that article on his super-duper workout. You know, the one where he's hanging on those pulleys, working (among other things) his obliques
