Why can't half of the posters on the OT use these simple words correctly?

We all know that your/you're, there/their/they're, and to/too/two are common ways to spot retards on here but here are some more that I see daily:
Loose vs. Lose- You don't "loose" a game, you "lose" it.
Advise vs Advice- Don't say stupid shite like "take my advise". It is "take my advice".
Dominate vs Dominant- Tyrann Mathieu was the not the most "dominate" player in LSU history, he was the most "dominant".
Heroin vs Heroine- One is a drug and one is a female hero. When people say someone "was shooting up heroine" they sound like a fricking retard.
What are some other ones and does anyone know why this is so hard for people?

I think some of this may have to do with auto correct on their phones and people just not catching the mistake rather than it being intentional.
