Help with WatchESPN app

First off, I have AppleTv. A friend of mine gave me their login information for AT&T U-Verse so that I could access the WatchESPN app on AppleTv and on my iPhone/iPad. I have been able to watch all ESPN content with no problems.

So yesterday I notice there is an update for the WatchESPN app which added the SEC Network. I updated it but it is telling me this:

Unable to Play Video
You are not authorized to play this content. Please contact your provider.

What has me confused is that my friend has the U200 channel package on U-Verse which is what is required to access it. I sent them a text last night just to make sure that they had access to it and they said that they were watching it at that moment.

My question is do any of you know what the problem could be? Maybe a setting on their account? Is U-Verse not allowing streaming from the WatchESPN app?

I know that it's not available on the AppleTv app but I could AirPlay it from the iPhone and iPad.

Don't know what else to try. I am almost wondering if it's because my iPhone is jailbroken and so it's recognizing that. I haven't tried it from my iPad yet. I however did log onto the WatchESPN website from work this morning and it basically told me the same thing.
