So I've lived in Houma, BR, Nola before although I didn't have a lot of money on me during those times.

I'm considering moving back to south LA and it doesn't really matter where I live since I'm working offshore now. Any suggestions for some areas to live? I'm considering somewhere in the NOLA area but I'm open to all suggestions.

What's the allure of Lafayette? Seems a little too small and conservative for my liking.

You know new people join and the search function sucks.

I like the small town feel. While it still having everything you need. People are great for the most part. Great food. Close to awesome hunting and fishing

compared to BR and Houma?

If Laffy is too small and conservative, your only option is NOLA

If your single or even married with no kids, I would buy a condo in the Warehouse District.

If you have kids, I would buy a house in Mandeville/Madisonville.

Houseboat in Galliano.

After a year you'll appreciate anywhere else.
