Drank this too late to post last night, but I had my first at the new tap house, last night. Not all the taps were operational, yet, and I just felt like a Fresh Squeezed. They also didn't have a tap list, so I couldn't see everything on the menu. That will have to wait for the soft opening on Tuesday.

Jury is still out. They had a handful of BMC - Coors Light, Blue Moon, Newcastle, Corona, and PBR. A waste of taps. I told the owner that he was going to lose business because of that. Nobody is going to go out of their way to come to his place to drink Coors Light. He told me that he is a maven in training. I'm trying to convince him that the more world class beers he can have on tap, the better his business will be. He should always have a local pilsner, or lager, or Kolsch on hand for the bland beer drinkers. Keep bottled BMC in the cooler for the people who refuse to drink craft beer.

This place will do well because of it's location and it's food is going to be really good, from what I've seen.

I also split this with my son...
Thanks to Salmon for the GR beers. This was very good. My son likes Saisons, now.

Beautiful day in St. Francisville. Mom spotted deer in the backyard the other morning...time to climb on the roof with my bow and a couple cold ones.

Jax, I really enjoyed the All My Tomorrow's. It's a great beer. And that's pretty cool that you introduced your son to the world of craft beer. Internet high five

He told me to give him advice and not to hold back. I figure I'll show him what I know before I ask him to put me on the payroll.

He has a guy who is supposed to be a beer expert workig for him. I haven't talked to him, yet. I want to find out what he knows and what he can get. One of the keys to getting good beer is how connected you are into the distribution networks. Wanting a keg of Block 15 beer and getting it are two different things.

Those bland beer drinkers are going to be confused as shite when this guy orders a dopplebock, baltic porter, or IPL and serves that to them.

Lagers get too much hate. The traditional lager styles are generally boring, but there is nothing wrong with lager yeast/lagering process.

Jacks Abby Brewing in MA only brews lagers and they are putting out some amazing shite.

Just outside of Breckinridge. I've only ever been to Colorado Springs and Crested Butte. It's gorgeous up here.

We are just starved for fresh and good IPAs in these parts. A few of us were in FL the last couple of weeks and returned with BX stock.

You made me go back and look. I don't think so... Gawd, I hope not, or my list of wasted taps just increased by one...

If you ever make it back to CB check out brick oven pizza (if you haven't). Great beer selection
