That is staggering. Didn't realize it was so much - nor did I realize Russia sells more than we do.

India is the main buyer of Russian weapons. The US has a much more diverse and thus stable portfolio.

1 of Russia's biggest seller's are helicopters; WE even bought some because they were so much cheaper and better.....seriously.

India has a billion+ people.
Algeria has 38 million.
That was my point in saying I was surprised by how much Algeria spent.

We don't use Russian equipment unless it's for the purpose of training against their platforms. The helos that we bought from Russia were for the Afghans--because they were more familiar/compatible with them.
