Saw a segment on the news about a week ago...he does not have an LSU offer. He looks to have the size and speed and watching him through drills...he looks the part.

How good is he..and could he make it into the class?

I'm sorry..but i can't remember his name.

from what I've seen on here, unless we miss out on few others, he won't receive an offer.

HE may get an offer later at the end of the recruiting cycle if we have some spots available.

It looks like the staff have their sights set on Tarvarus McFadden, Dashawn Raymond, and still haven't given up on Jamal Peters. Plus, we already have a pretty good prospect in Kvin Henry committed.

I think Reid gets in this class in the middle if the season. I don't think he'll be a kid that hesitates for a second on the offer if/when he receives it.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't get an offer, personally. Isn't his dad The L Club President?

The kid doesn't have an LSU offer, but has one from Brown. I would take the Ivy league offer.

He can kick too from his highlights. That would be interesting a FS/K recruit

All of the brothers were gifted soccer players, so it doesn't surprise me he can kick as well

He tore it up in the camps and showcases this summer. Really improved his stock.

But in August, the kids are done with the summer circuit and showcases and are preparing for the start of school and season.

I think he gets an offer somewhere down the road with a good season. Plus, Eric Reid was a great person as well as player and really represented LSU as good as you can. His little brother is a great person as well and comes from the same family and background as Eric. Plus, I think hes good enough to get an offer anyways, regardless of his family.

But hes a borderline guy right now... meaning we may offer him, we may not. But we need to let the process play out a little more right now.

As the season pans out I'm highly confident he'll get one, from what I've seen of him.

The problem is they don't offer athletic scholarships, he would be at the mercy of financial aid.

The young Dutchtown defense made drastic improvements throughout the season last year. They will have a good season.

They find ways, especially for minority kids from southern public high schools. One of the quarterbacks from my high school went to Harvard on a "leadership scholarship." He was a good but not great student.

The DB's were all over the place. They made more tackles than the LB's, who traditionally are small guys. The DC is a POS, but with a never ending supply of DB's and quick DL, they'll always be pretty good. Struggle against big, physical teams, however.
