Dinner and Bar recs in Mid-town Atlanta

For dinner, looking for a place thats got a great atmosphere, and less than $10/entree if possible (sorry I'm poor).
Bars, we are looking for a place with a younger crowd (early 20s). Maybe a place that some GT students might go to because I think its close to the start of school there. Walkling distance to the crowne plaza - midtown is a plus

Vortex.
Burger joint with crazy burgers (like a foot tall stacked with meat) and a bar-type atmosphere. I think you have to be 18 to eat there even though it's a restaurant. Pinup girls and whatnot on the walls.

I'd say Vortex as well. Really good atmosphere and a really good craft beer selection. Burgers are pretty good, but not the greatest. For your price range it is hard to beat.
