My friends dad used to dive for golf balls. Dad not in picture anymore. Have about 2000 of them. How would we go about getting rid of them and how much are we looking at getting? Thanks

Mint 2013 Prov1's will fetch $1.80 each retail.

Golfballs.com is based in laffy and lostgolfballs.com is based in Houston. They may buy them from you for a few bucks

Of those 2,000...1,000 or so will be ones they'll resell and most won't be but 3-4A grade so they may give you $250-$300 for the lot.

Had a friend who cut grass at a golf course in college. He would sell the pro v1s for a good little price. Range balls are $20 an onion sack. Pro v1s are ~$50 a dozen.

ProV1's are less than $50 new and $23 or so at mint condition used. No way he was selling used prov's for $50.

Sell pro-v1's at about $10 a dozen. Other miscellaneous ones $10 per 2 dozen.

Take out the tour balls and sell online; take the others and donate to junior golf.

Wasn't paying attention to what I was writing. I'm saying close to 50 for new proV1s, he didn't sell them used for that. Don't really remember what he did sell them for.

We park our boat along the shore next to a golf course. The kids walk along the shoreline in the water and find a hundred or more balls every trip. I bet they have close to 1500 balls they've found. My wife was telling me I need to do something with them.

I keep the ProV1s, but everything else stays in the trash can they put them in. Think I'll just put them on craigslist.

Just go sit in the parking lot at a golf course on a Saturday and someone will give you a hundred bucks for the bag

you can use lostgolfballs.com as a reference - they sale based on quality scale as well as ball manufacture.
