Can you remember a more humble superstar than LF7?

FYI he was referring to frank Wilson in that first line

quote:

“He tells all of the young players to get into the playbooks and that is the only thing that is going to help us,” said Fournette. “I’m just following their lead. Everything they tell me to do, I’m doing it.” With the accolades that Fournette brought with him to LSU, including being named the 247Sports Composite National Player of the Year, it would be easy for him to lose sight on what got him this far. But despite comparisons to Adrian Peterson, Michael Jordan, and the countless other athletes considered some of the best to ever play their sport, Fournette remains grounded. “My mother sends me a text and says, ‘Leonard stay humble’,” said Fournette. “Terrence and them are always telling me not to worry about the hype, just worry about getting this championship together. So that’s all I’m focused on. I take heed to what they say, say my prayers every night, and ask God to keep me humble.”

LF is a good kid. He was obviously raised by good parents. I know he will live up to the hype, but he already has all the tools he needs to be successful in life regardless of whether he plays another down of football.

This entire recruiting class seems to be the same way.

Quote the other day from Trey Quinn said something along the lines of "there are no stars attached to our names. We are LSU football players now."

You can't help but feel excited and optimistic about this group of players.

Yeah, they all seem to be high character, level headed guys.

I'm all for the excitement, but slow down a bit. What the frick has he done to be labeled a "superstar"? He's a talented freshman with what appears to be a high ceiling.

Take a deep breath.

Which is incredible. If everyone rode my nuts like they do Leonard's when I was 17-18 I'd of been so cocky it'd of been ridiculous.

If you think LF7 isn't a superstar, you're kidding yourself.

He has his own documentary and has lead CFB Live multiple times before taking a carry. Maybe you missed the boat.

most of these guys don't know that being a superstar is really based on hype/popularity. He's certainly a superstar at LSU, and around the SEC.
