What's going on with Valentine?

I thought he was going to be cleared Tuesday. Can anyone explain what the hold up may be, why it's taking so long for clearance?

He is looking at a red shirt this year at best. A Defensive Tackle is a lot different from a CB.
How long did it take a definite high draft choice in my opinion to get in the lineup at CB when he didn't get to LSU until a few days before the first game. Yes I'm talking about RR. How many games did RR start last year? Not until Jalen Mills was moved to safety in my humble opinion.
I think that worked for us in the long run, but unless Valentine shows up,and is a Glen Dorsey or above talent, this is simply not going to happen.Glenn didn't start BTW as a pure frosh, but did get some playing time and looked good.

do you know the timetable of when he might get cleared? If he gets in early next week...he could have an impact towards the middle of the season if need be.

Another delay by the Clearinghouse, who as I like to say, operates at a snail's pace. What else is new?
Just hope Valentine is cleared in time to register for the fall semester and can get to Baton Rouge in time to make an impact for this season.
At least the injury to Thomas is not nearly as severe as originally reported, so that he can be ready to go maybe even vs. Wisconsin.
