What is the cost of parking in the Superdome parking garage? Are there other cheaper options around the Superdome? I'm in the military and finally stationed close to home after 16 years in and haven't been to a Saints game since before I joined.

There are a zillion lots and garages within a half-mile of the Superdome.

You won't be able to park IN the Superdome, unless you have a season pass.

Thanks...I wasn't aware of that. That must have been a change in the last 20 or so years because I remember my dad parking in the parking lot and he didn't have a season pass.

I park in the Dome every game without one. It was $35 last year but I believe it has since gone up to $40.

Unfortunately, there are VERY few parking spots available at the Superdome- I've been going to games for 30 years and I've never parked there (for Tulane games and other events, yes, but never for Saints games).

But there are many lots and garages within walking distance from the Dome- you'll see the guys with flags and signs in the street showing the price- it gets cheaper the further away you get from the Dome.

Don;t know if you are going tomorrow- I am- we usually park on a lot on Rampart about a block off Poydras.

How many hours before the kickoff do you get there?

And how long does it take to get out of there after the game?

We usually pay $15-20 to park on Rampart.

If you want to be on the "party" side of the dome for the bars and such, park in the warehouse district in a lot.

If you don't care about all of that, you can get free parking all along Tulane and possibly around the LSU Health Sciences building. Not a bad walk at all.

I know this belongs on the tickets exchange but I figured I would extend the offer since their is a different thread about it.

I'm selling a garage 1 parking pass for tonight game. Literally a few steps away from champions square. 20-30 second walk to gate B. $25

We get there early and we don't mind spending the extra bucks to park so close. For noon games, we're probably there around 8ish. For night games, we get there around, or a tad after lunch. As far as getting out, we usually take our time leaving the dome and once we get to the car, we'll just hang out for a few minutes as well. Jump on Poydras and it probably takes us about 10 minutes to get to the interstate. It takes us 40 miuntes to get there, and about an hour to get back usually.

We're not going tonight, but the other people that we tailgate with are leaving before lunch. One comes from Mississippi and the other comes from Houma, which is just southwest of where we are. frick that noise for a preseason game.

Unfortunately, I don't have Saints tickets.
