So poor people don't deserve healthcare because some fat arse on TV is sneaking in food.

Good logic there.

There is a bigger problem with "free healthcare":

In the absence of prices, the government must ration services. Hence you have people in the UK being denied hip replacements, cataract surgery, and cancer drugs.

The NHS also is absolutely dreadful at providing dental. Only 40% of limeys are able to find an NHS dentist, and the wealthy brits use expensive private care.

I have lots of connections with the NHS, and it has very sinister practices.

If only they were poor and had no health insurance at all, they'd get all those things, right?

I kinda find it hard to believe that a weight loss clinic / ward would have a trolley going around selling soda and snacks.

Yet Brits live on average 1.2 more years than us Americans.

Must be those Federal school lunches killing us before our time.

You got those results from flawed studies that don't remove non-medical reasons for death. When you remove homicides and car accident deaths, there is a much different picture:

Keep in mind that this is obviously in the U.K. so when he says chips he's not talking about Pringles. He's saying the trolley sells fries.

you do know the who relies on self-reporting, right?

you, I'm sure, also know that the US includes violent death in their numbers they report, right?

I'm sure you also knew that most European countries, and most globally dont report violent deaths, right?

No, progressive warrior of hope and change....you didn't. As usual, your perfunctory attempt at becoming informed has left you nothing more than a parrot repeating the bullshite the idiot box spews at you. pathetic.

The who study does not remove non-medical related deaths, which are higher in the united states. Like I said, once you account for differences in homicides, car accidents, etc, America moved upwards in life expectancy.

The WHO is the same organization that released that absolutely pathetic "ranking" 14 years ago that listed America 37th in healthcare. One of the most misleading reports ever released.

The cognitive dissonance to protect your ego is amazing from you progressive warriors. Even in the light of actual facts you not only wont relinquish your incorrect beliefs....you double down and call the other people stupid for not believing lies.

It's fascinating. It's how obama won. He knows how to play you brain dead zombies like a fiddle.

Well, that and the fact the Republicans can't manage to come up with a decent candidate to run against him.

Ummm…it is actually true. The reporting of information isn't standardized throughout the different countries.

Another example is prenatal survival. Certain countries have different standards of reporting, thus decreasing the rates of death.

Even the WHO states that different countries report their statistics differently.
