Just watched "Mad Max" for the first time...

damn, what an awesome movie. Pretty much non-stop action for the whole hour and a half. The young Mel was pretty good as well. Can't believe I have never watched it before. Cool story, I know.

They must have been shipped over from the states before the apocalypse. I saw the link on Australian football on the Sports board a couple of weeks ago and there were no pads and it was absolutely brutal.
