Not that anyone cares, but Northwestern just lost two huge players

Venric Mark was their star running back. The school tried very hard for him to get a sixth year eligibility, and was successful. He then got suspended for two games this year, and instead is transferring. This is big news in big ten world.

Their leading WR is out for the year with an injury, which was also announced today.

Fitzgerald is a very unlucky coach.

Man, the wildcats have just imploded ever since that fourth quarter heartbreaking loss to the buckeyes last year.

The details aren't clear yet. The 2 game suspension has been known for a week, and he is on record saying he is looking forward to getting to play, and then this comes out of nowhere.

I wish there was a northwestern forum so I can read the meltdowns.

No one really cares about Northwestern in the big ten anyways except for Northwestern fans. At their home big ten games it's anywhere from 25 percent to 50 percent visiting fans always.

If the visiting big ten team is winning it's almost like a home game for them.

Solid RB, I'm guessing he'll be able to play this year at the new school.

Northwestern is one of my favorite big ten teams. Love the underdog

I was thinking of posting about this on the recruiting board since Venric Mark's highlight videos were always in GeauxAggie's recruit battles or whatever.

I know it's his alma mater, but I feel like Fitzgerald could do some big things at a school with more resources.
