You will never get a good answer on here since half the parents on here would take their children to the midnight showing of Caligula.

I should point out that the other half thinks Maria was a bit of a tart and gold digger in the Sound of Music.

There is no middle ground.

Had a couple bring a 1 year old to a 9:45pm showing of Planet of the Apes. So sure why not.

But yeah, its fine for 8 year old.

My dad took me to see Terminator 2 when I was 5, granted I dont remember much besides the last part when Arnold was lowered into the lava

Im sure the TMNT will be fine for an 8 year old.

I took my 5 year old and his friend who was 6. His friend dressed up like a ninja turtle and my boy wore some Ninja Turtle clothing. Good times.

Yeah my folks never worried about violence. Saw Rambo, Blob, Predator, Poltergeist, etc. TMNT isnt anything to worry about

Is it age appropriate? Probably so. However it may be morally wrong to let you child watch that Michael Bay trash.

I saw parents bring their newborn to the new Transformers, my wife and I just shook our heads. I mean it's Michael Bay, it was loud, I'm sure that kid is now deaf.
