Just saw this deal at Best Buy, but I could not find any reviews about this specific model.

Westinghouse - 55" Class (54-5/8" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - 120Hz - HDTV
Model: DWM55F1Y2

$479.99

I have never owned anything westinghouse. Does anyone have any experience with their TVs?

Better go and try to find a display model to look at first. I saw they had a good price on some a while back. Went there and looked at the display model and changed my mind. Awfully dark picture - soft in detail and brightness - tried to adjust settings to no avail - salesman told me that was pretty much the status quo with the Westinghouse brand... Fwiw.

My first HD TV was a Westinghouse, and it had a great picture. It didn't last me as long as I thought it should have. Probably 6 years or so before it started giving me trouble when I first turned it on until it warmed up. Finally replaced it in February when it was about 7 and a half years old. It was a 32".

If you plan on wall mounting it, check their hole pattern on the back. If I remember correctly they do not use the standard mount pattern.

My first LCD TV was a Westinghouse. It was a 32".

I paid $1500 for it in 2005.

FML

Still works today though, although it is rarely used in the front den.

There is no way that is actually made by them. Just the name on the front.

I bought a 40" LCD about 3 years ago. Decent TV for the price and never had a problem yet
