Seems like a lot of big movies staring Indians have recently come out:

Slum dog millionaire
Life of Pi
Million dollar arm
The hundred foot journey

Will the next generation of hot actors be Indian?

Bollywood has a pretty large and serious movie industry. With so many Indian movies being made each year, it's not too surprising that some are becoming big international hits.

Not really. You listed 4 moves over a 6 year period. Not anywhere near a craze.

Bigger impact on sitcoms... for a while, most sitcoms had one Indian/Pakistani region character.

Also:

AMC O'Neil now shows Bollywood movies on a regular basis.

Life of PI blew me away. Loved the visual and the message of the movie was really good. About the whole human spirit wanting to hope and believe in good and miracles. Haven't watch any of the other movies.

I'd say China is the next big thing in movies. They poured out in droves to Transformers. I imagine super hero movies aren't to far behind.

If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend Singham. You can thank me later.
