Yeah, i mean i didn't expect them to put us in the playoffs until we prove it, but I def. think we are going to be at least .500.

Doesn't really matter..... 98% of ESPN stuff is bullshite anyway.

They've got Dallas rated too high, although I do love Rick Carlisle. I think they will be good but not great. Same with Portland. They come back to Earth and fight for the last playoff spot.

In case anyone cares, they had Brooklyn as the 8 seed in the east at 39-43.

I can't believe they are only giving the Pelicans 5 more wins after adding Asik and assuming they won't be decimated by injuries.

39 wins is about what the Pelicans probably would have had if they were more healthy last year.

I think Portland drops down a bit this year. They were very lucky with injuries this past season.

Crazy that it could take that record for 8th in the West

I doubt any of them paid enough attention to us last year to accurately predict what can do this year.

i think what pissed me off more about the injuries last season than the whole sucking was the team not having that year to gel. now this season becomes gel and hope to squeak in as a 7 or 8 instead of possibly competing for a 5 or 6 seed.

I doubt any of the people that made that list and predictions have watched many of our games and likely don't realize how hard we were hit by injuries last season. getting ryno and jrue back plus adding asik only gives us 5 more wins? c'mon man

There was a pretty big drop off between 9th and 10th last year

I'm not buying it, the East has definitely improved and become more balanced. It took so many wins to make the playoffs in the West last season because the West feasted on the East, 66.67% winning percent.

I also wouldn't get too upset at these early forecasts because the one thing they can't predict is injury. It's highly likely that at least 2 of the teams 4-11 will sustain enough injury to key players that it will derail their playoff run. I don't think anyone 4-11 is a lock.
