Another reason not to put so much emotional stock in recruiting, especially QBs

14. Gunner Kiel, Cincinnati. Remember him? Kiel was a breathlessly hyped high school prospect who committed to Indiana, signed with LSU, wound up at Notre Dame and then transferred to Cincinnati – all before playing a down of college football. Kiel comes from Southern Indiana, which is not exactly Florida in terms of a prospect breeding ground, so there are skeptics still waiting to see if he’s the real deal.

Kudos to being the first one!
Chest..ha ha! Miles cracks me up with the things he says, though in that instance, I wasn't a big fan for him to be calling out a kid.

I honestly feel bad for the kid. I'm also incredibly releived he didn't come here. A five-star QB bust under Miles at that time would have been a negatiger wet dream.

Yeah, it would have been a dream come true for haters.

However, I don't truly know if he's a bust just yet. He would probably be starting this year and maybe flourished.

It's always a negative Tiger "fans" wish to have bad things happen to our program.

I can't imagine why people actually pursue misery. If Miles wins they complain because he just gets lucky. If he loses he's awful and should be gone. Literally no result will please them.

Kid still has the bird variety of "Chest" as compared to the "Man" chest required to play at LSU

Well, the kid is a dumbass and if I remember right, it was because of his mother.

He would be at LSU as a red shirt sophomore (I think) and IF HE WAS AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED, would probably be holding the keys to the bus of an elite SEC team with a shot at winning it all.

I know he doesn't love LSU as most of us do, but he has to wake up every morning and realize he's at fricking Cincy and not at an SEC powerhouse....ahhh, life's regrets for a know it all kid who's parents interfered.

Assuming the way this post is configured you grabbed this from some kind of list? Website? Link? What the hell is the ranking/list even about?

Is Kiel eligible this year, or does he have to sit out? Either way, if he is any good, he would no doubt be the starter, Jennings would have RS'ed last year. Obviously, we have to see him play, but his mom didn't do him any favors.

Well he could have been happily ensconced among the other 3 star QB busts. But I agree that recruiting is way over-hyped and most of it is just BS anyway.
