I kind of like the guy and you are correct that he is going to need to work on his redneck image a little.
Really hope John can beat the loud arse idiot Billy Nungesser.

Name a few Parishes that are as corrupt as Jefferson Parish and I won't for for those guys either. I will go ahead and start with St Tammany.

Well plaquemine parish seems bad too. Point taken though. Jeff parish might be the most corrupt in the state

This. The Alario and Aaron Broussard influence is still way to high over there.

So, we could have three parish presidents (well, two parish presidents and a mayor-president) running for what is one of the most useless jobs in state government.

Are they thinking Vitter won't finish his term??

Well, short of a scandal, he's definitely in for the long haul. He won't be campaigning for another political job after his first session.

I knew John for yrs when he was a civil defense atty & he was always considered a straight shooter & extremely honest.I've not seen anything that he's done since then to change that perspective, and to link him in any way to A.Broussard's corruption is way off the mark.
