Colin Cowherd blames "Southern Culture" for Ward Jr's death.

He blames NASCAR for the incident yet this was not a NASCAR event.
Also, it appears that at least half of the NASCAR venues are outside of the South, but I might be wrong about that.

The kid was born and raced in New York... as you said..
Like you said Stewart is from Indiana? I have no idea about him.. but this whole blaming a southern culture is absolutely ridiculous and highly unfair.
If anything the southern culture is far more friendly and handles these types of disputes a certain way better than these yankees..

Cowherd develops really simplistic arguments for everything and promotes them like they are fact. He is incredibly ill-informed, but he acts like he knows stuff.

People used to (and still do) bash on Condon, but their tactics are just the same.
I hate Cowherd's show. I'd rather listen to hours of Condon and Ott on the same show arguing with each other.

What I expect Cowherd's trying to get at, without just coming out and saying it, is something to the effect of redneck road rage. TBH, that was my initial impression of the crash too. Two hot-heads not wanting to back down.
But, I guess you can have road rage anywhere.

Is that true? NASCAR doesn't penalize their drivers for getting out of their cars after an incident?
If so, that's stupid and NASCAR should change that immediately.
