Missed this when it came out, didn't hear about it til I saw an E3 blurb about it over the weekend.
Since it's the Windows OS, could this also be considered Alienware's attempt at the lower-income gaming consumers?

I imagine that maxwell video card is the 750 or 750 ti, which is meh for PC gaming

Yeah, now it's just smaller and weaker. This is an HTPC at best. But at least it has Windows. I may be in the minority, but I think the conceptual/beta steam boxes with $1,000+ worth of hardware coupled with SteamOS is just silly.
