Why did NBC hate Scrubs?

I watched it here and there when it was on, but never really got into it. I started it from the beginning on Netflix a couple of weeks ago, and I really like it. I'm up to season 6, halfway through.

I could never really get into it. A little too over the top for me. Didnt hate it. Seen a decent amount of episode when they use to run late night. But was never a big fan

Specific audience. Ratings weren't great. Like a dozen other "cult" shows that could have hung on slightly year to year but eventually bit the bullet.

They never gave it much of a chance to develop a following. I don't think any other show in the history of TV has been moved around on the schedule as much as scrubs was moved around.

NBC had other programming that was more profitable. Still, Scrubs got 7 seasons on NBC. It's hard to argue they didn't get a fair shake.

If you know the history of Scrubs, they moved the show from day to day and time to time about eleventy billion times.

I love scrubs still. I recently watched the first couple of seasons again and still love it.

Scrubs had the perfect amount if run time and the perfect ending IMO (not counting new Scrubs)

I love Scrubs and agree that moving it so much made it hard to keep up with for those without a dvr. Some great music on that show.
