Any OB trolling motor pros out there?

Got a Minn Kota RT 50. Just put an entire new lower unit housing and shaft on it. Put it all back together and it leaked on the first use. Put all new seals etc and checked my work when I took it back apart and everything looks good. Any oideas what I did wrong?

Silicone grease, bearing grease, or even Vaseline would work.
