I'm pretty sure the OT has discussed this, but me and a coworker stumbled across this on youtube

Where not to live in Baton Rouge

You know that most of those guys were paid actors with prop guns, right?

I think a rap promoting group produced it.

The video is similar to "Thuggin it and Lovin it." That video was released nearly three years ago and claimed to showcase the streets of Baton Rouge. It showed people flashing guns, waving what appeared to be drugs and showing off cash. Law enforcement tracked down people in the video, but no arrests were made for the creation of it.

No arrests were made in the whole Thuggin it and Lovin it controversy. Why? There was a ton of video evidence with all kinds of illegal shite going on. Oh yeah, because it was fake. The people in it were extras or paid to do that to promote local rap.

I think one of the "Thugs" was a drama major at LSU.

Now, there is a more recent video out that doesn't claim to be fake and is focused on Gardere.

I thought it was pretty obvious it was a joke. I remember watching it and thinking it was going to be horrible, then just laughing.
