I have an idea of the perfect game for Nintendo...how can I pitch it to them?

I am an ideas guy, and every once in a while, I know that if I have an idea that I followed through with, it would be a hit. One of these ideas is a video game but it's a Nintendo-themed video game.
And with the design of gameplay and genre/type of game that it is, it is now even more realized. I came up with the idea probably in 2010, well before the WiiU. Now with the WiiU controls, the game is possible to play.
I don't want to reveal anything about it, because it is that good.
All that being said, how does one go about getting a huge company to see their idea and run with it? I don't even want to get royalties, I want them to make this game like I know they should because it will work and be glorious and be a huge hit.
Is this near impossible? Like pitching a script without paying your dues in Hollywood? (the janitor -> waitor -> grip -> actor route?)
Please let me know!

A game about rocks would be boring.

Write them a letter.
For real?
What type of official steps should I undertake with this letter? Should I see a notary or anything before this letter?
Should I get my intellectual property copyright?
How realized does the game have to be? Could it just be written? Does it have to be written in length? What about visuals (What if the visuals are copyright themselves?)? Coding? Working concept?
Basically: To what extent do I need to flesh out the idea to communicate it to Nintendo to get them to bite? And how do I make sure this idea isn't scooped by anyone else?
P.S.

Game is not about rocks, but it does rock.

If you make your handwriting look like a six year old boy's,they launch the game within weeks.

Their official site under job opportunities says almost verbatim that they "have enough gaming ideas to keep them busy for the next 5 years."
So pitching them a script would be a fruitless endeavor. Their yearly hiring at NoA for programmers and testers has already passed this year as well so.....hate to say it. You're shite out of luck on that subject However, keep whatever you have man. Opportunities arise and I'm sure you know that as well as anyone. Good luck in your search.

That's what I've feared what the case was.
I don't have a background in programming or game design, so I'm out of luck.
I guess there are two options 1) know people that have ties to Nintendo and pitch it to them, or get in the door that way, or 2) go ahead and make the game myself...and hope Nintendo would see its greatness and have them endorse the game/buy the company/idea.

Kickstarter
I don't think that will work, because someone would scoop the idea. And prior to the kickstarter I would have to find a team that was fully on board, and the kickstarter would be to basically get their assurance they would help me.
But I could only lead them if I could fully realize what the game was and the finished product would look like.
This is all with using familiar characters and backgrounds and sprites that would be against the law...unless I could have that as a mod, which would actually be the real look of the game as I pitch it to Nintendo once it is functioning properly.

These big companies say all the time that ideas aren't the issue, execution and the ability to make it happen is. They have plenty of ideas.

This had better be about a Pokemon RPG for the WiiU.

It's better.
In fact, the game idea is so good, even the title for the project is perfect.

But I know your pain dude I really do. I'm writing a book about 60-70 pages in and you gotta have some thick arse skin and ability to get through some serious re works

The end product often looks nothing like the beginning idea. It's always an interesting story to see how they evolve.

I'm quite curious as to what this idea is. If you don't want any royalties, why does it matter if someone scoops it up?

Because it won't be the game that I want and I trust Nintendo will understand its purpose after I explain it.
