Thanks for sharing! I'm not an old-timer but I do appreciate history!

Thanks for that. My wife gave me season tix to the Saints inaugural season in '67 for my 50th bday. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Brings back a lot of memories for this "old timer". Was part of a group that purchased season tickets, but unfortunately, in '67, was in Chu Lai & points north. Made a few games until I got home mid-year '70 after discharge from the Corp. From than until '89, did not not miss a game. Moved to Dallas for business & carried the flag in the midst of Cowboy & Longhorn country until I finally got back in 2012. No place like Saints Country! A lot of joy & tears on the 45 year journey to the Lombardi. Hope the youngsters appreciate the caliber of this team, but not having been through the dry times, they probably just take it for granted. Truly believe I will see another Super Bowl championship & another national championship up the road before the last hurrah.

"clutches the ball like he can squeeze next month's rent out of it."

Between that and the quarter backs being pulled to the ground by their helmet: Good stuff

That video brings back memories! I was only 11 that season, but remember it so well, thanks to a photo static memory!
