I need a new keyboard, speakers, and a mouse. The ones I have are "wired"(?) and I want to go wireless for these things. What should I do?

Do you need top line products or just anything that works?

Anything that works, really. I just hate having the wires everywhere. Should I do Bluetooth? USB wireless? I dunno.

I've had this for two years, and have yet to change the batteries. They have lower models of you don't want to spend that much. I love it though.

Yeah, any of the Logitech desktop sets are very good. I'm a logitech fanboy when it comes to mice and keyboards. Don't be suckered in by any of the models with internal rechargeable batteries. Those need to be recharged a lot more often than you'd need to change the batteries on the ones that take plain old AA.

Do you do lots of typing?

As for speakers, how much were you planning on spending?

I do a lot of typing, yes.

As for speakers, what are the price ranges?

I do thousand word essays frequently (student) and a mechanical keyboard makes typing sessions less straining. They're wired and pricey, but for typers I always say they're well worth the cost (also since they last forever).

Speakers I have a $20 sound bar speaker for my PC and a $150 set of speakers. The $20 is actually pretty decent for the price, butits also wired. Many PC speakers are wired, though

I had to Google what a mechanical keyboard is. Nice. I kind of like that idea.

ETA: are they wireless?

+1 for anything Logitech. I bought a Logitech IR mouse when they first came out in the late 90s, and it's still kickin'.

Mechanical keyboards do not tend to come wireless. I have managed to find ones that are wireless, but I would not recommend them.

Here is one on Newegg
