Small bite for a shark big enough to be a likely attacker. I also say gar, same bite radius but a bigger fish.

Not a shark expert, but exactly what I Sid to myself when I saw the pic.

Most likely predator inside Pontchartain.

And distance b/w teeth seems about that size

The punctures look like they were made with triangular teeth,of some size.

To me,no expert,it looks like a small shark nipped him on the heal.jmo
