Sitting at the camp with my younger brother. We set our trot lines earlier. Just got finished with a couple of steaks and a few beers. Almost a full moon an not a ripple on the water. About to leave and check the lines. Wives and kids coming tomorrow

Simple pleasures,

Just got back. Six good size cats on one 25 hook set. Our neighbor put out 15 PVC pipes with a float. Everyone had at least one fish in it and about six had doubles. That is just too easy. Will be at hardware store in the morning making a few up. I've heard about this but never tried. Frick a trot line

Sounds like a perfect night. Where's the camp and what are you baiting with?

I am in my apartment, but there is a fishing pond down the street. Bream and bass, so I'll use a jig.

Can you take a pic and show us what it is when you get a chance? Sounds interesting.

Salt in the wound!!! Day 16 of a 21 day stretch. I will get 1 day off before i have to go at it again for another 14 days. Looking at this for the next 4 months. So much for football, and hunting season this year.

Catch a few for me.

I'm sorry, but the only time I will allow myself to sit while fishing is in a small personal watercraft where it is mandatory.
