any other options heading west tomorrow morning to avoid all the traffic?

We will be leaving the Seaside, FL area heading back to NW LA cutting across MS to hit I-20W at Jackson.

TIA,

Sull

Yes

Look at a map, you'd be surprised how many roads are in America!

edit: wait you're heading west. Take the cause way and turn right at the Bankhead tunnel. Hop on the H bridge and take 165 to 65. It will loop you around Mobile and bring you back to 10

This. I'd much rather drive in the middle of the night with no one else on the roads then have to sit in traffic.

Just get off at the Daphne/Spanish Fort exit and take the 90/98 causeway through the Bankhead tunnel. Then take a right on Broad Street, Left on Spring Hill Ave and that will take you to Moffitt road (us 98) to Hattiesburg to 49 to Jackson.

Did it recently and was surprised to see how much West Mobile had developed. Traffic was kind of heavy.

kinda like taking a dump, you don't really like to do it, but it's something you gotta do. Similar to when you have to go back to New Orleans.

Why not take 10 to 12 back to 10 in BR to 190 over to Opelousas to 49 north?

Just wondering.
