Got my first 1911

I just picked up my first 1911 style pistol that I won at the Houma Friends of the NRA banquet. Might not be a Colt or Kimber but still excited.

Awesome man. Welcome to the club. It's my favorite gun and it is an absolute blast to shoot. Great trigger and dead on accuracy.
Edit: 1911's in general. I dont have experience with the Rem.

Something just feels right about the 1911 it palms much better than my Ruger P90. Hard to beat the H&K USP i have but the 1911 design is just so damn iconic. Can't wait to send a few rounds downrange with this thing.

Congrats, bayoudude. Getting your first 1911 is typically a good news/bad news kinda thing.....
