Gilmore
Will Valentine get here? Thanks clearinghouse

We still have talent here. The sky isn't falling quite yet everyone.

Do we move an OL over?

Sky isn't falling by any means. We have tons of guys. Question is if they can step up.

It was a bad situation yesterday...it is a dire situation today. This is horrible news.

We are fine...One more injury, then we should worry. I just feel bad for QT because he has worked his arse off

Thomas was starting for a reason. It hurts. Now we have to rely on someone who has never recorded a tackle before. Mickey Johnson is a guy I don't hear anything about. I remember him picking us over FSU and people seemed excited but he has been quiet in little action so far. Is he a backup essentially or does he have a chance to start now if the others don't step up?

I think it helps our future to get these guys reps now but there will be growing pains. I'm sure someone will suggest we just move to a 3-4.

Yes, they're talented, but you can't just plug talent into the defensive line with zero experience and expect everything to move on without missing a beat.

The loss of Thomas is huge.

The defensive line has little depth and little experience. That's not exactly an ideal combination.

Which shows you how recruiting labels and HS credentials a lot of times don't translate or mean shite at the collegiate level. People were acting like that dude would be starting as a true freshman when he signed. People on here listing his squat and bench totals and how many other schools were after him..

Bain

QT is a loss but if none of the three out of Bain Gilmore and Herron stepped up then it was gonna be a long year anyway

Herron is not even an option. He's only 278 pounds.

Are you being serious? Chief's favorite DTs are in the 280's. That's still a big dude. We need our DTs to penetrate not destroy entire pizza buffets.

I predict we see more mustang package this year. We have the DB depth for it.
