Can we agree that this may be one of the greatest live performances of all time? JPJ kills it on the bass starting at about 7:11 he is going nuts. Also the solo by Jimmy Page is unreal. John Bonham destroying the drums. And Robert Plant still has his voice and sounds amazing.

The MB isn't big on LZ, or should I say loLZ.
I'm a fan tho.

Is there a particular reason why?

Because they're fricking retarded and think they're hip by going against the grain

THat is a very good one, however I like Dazed as it grew into more and more of a monster live as the band progressed. Some of my favorites are as follows:
9/29/71 Osaka, Japan
6/25/72 LA Forum
7/17/73 Seattle
5/24/75 Earl's Court
By '75 it had grown into a 35-45 minute jam, Then No Quarter started to replace it as the JAM song in their live performances. There are many who don't like Zeppelin on here but there seems to be many that do. Most of those performances above should be able to be found on youtube.

Just watched it for the first time. Great concert. Camera work was awesome; felt like I was on stage with them. Thanks for the post.

Awesome. I will definitely check all of those out.

My favorite part is JPJ, right after Page's first solo and Plant steps out of the way, he is just going to town on that bass.

Keep in mind they aren't filmed they are just audio bootlegs. There aren't a ton of video boots out there. Some footage exists but most of it is on How the west was won or the song remains the same. There is complete footage to Knebworth in '79 and some other snippets but not a lot of complete filmed recordings.

I still haven't gotten a legit reason why "the MB" isn't big on LZ? Is it just personal preference or is it one person said they didn't like them so everyone else follows?

I think there are quite a few on here that like Zeppelin, however there are quite a few that don't. That's the beauty of music not everyone has to like the same thing.
That being said for the last 30 years I have been at addiction level with them. Always been hard to fathom how someone can't like anything they did as it's such a wide range of styles by one band. IMO they did multiple sounds as well or better than anyone.

Not to mention the band consisted of one of the best bass players, best guitarists, best drummer's, and best/ unique vocalists of all time. I don't understand what there is to not like about them. But, to each their own.

Totally agree- their early works were awesome; when you see a lot of the lame shite people listen to and love today, they should cover there heads in shame that they try to dismiss LZ.

Love zeppelin but not a fan of pages idiotic self indulgent cap with the bow. He's better than that.

Well, both bands have frontmen who do their damndest to ruin what the rest of the band is doing. The difference is that Zeppelin is so great that Planet's screeching histrionics are annoying, but don't entirely derail the band. The Doors do get ruined by Morrison's 10th grade poetry.
Also, Plant occasionally reined in his worst instincts. Morrison just got more obnoxious and indulgent as the band went on.
