Love is really goodn, and Wiggins can either be a great player or draft bust.

3 1st rounders (two top picks overall) is pretty good value. I think they did alright. Better to cut bait now and move on. Wiggins and Bennett have really big potential, plus the whole team Canada angle. It's too bad they didn't get Thompson too. They could have had 3 of Canada's main players (nice marketing tool)..

They got the last two #1 overall picks, one of which was the most hyped player to enter the draft in probably over a decade, and another first round pick for a player who was walking anyway. I'd say that's more than respectable.

I'm just glad it makes them worse in the short term, another team that the Pels don't have to worry about this season.

It's a fair trade to me. I don't think the wolves could ask for much more. Love was definitely leaving, and still received good value for him. Wiggins has a ton of potential, Bennett also has potential. The pick is probably irrelevant, though.

Wiggins wasn't that hyped

People weren't even 100 percent sure he was going number 1 until the night of the draft. Embiid was number 1 until his injury was found. Davis was way more hyped going into his draft.

Won't really know the answer to that for some time; we need to see Wiggins on the floor. I personally think this was a good trade for both teams (as good as can be expected for the Wolves).

Wiggins is going to be elite before it's all said and done...IMO

Being that he could have walked away for nothing after the season, and the 2nd best offer they received was David Lee/Harrison Barnes, they got a very fair deal.

It was about as good as they'd have gotten for him, even if they weren't under the gun.

I can't think of another superstar-level trade where the team got better value back for him.

CP3? Aminu, Gordon, Kaman, and a pick that became Austin Rivers.

Melo? Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Galinari, Tim Mozgov, the Knicks' 2014 1st, the Warriors' 2012 and 2013 2nds, and $3m.

Deron Williams? Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, 2 1sts (Enes Kanter and Gorgiu Dieng, who was traded with Shabazz Muhammed for Trey Burke) and $3m.

Yes. Much better than GS offer even if they threw in Thompson.

Not a slam dunk that Wiggins or Bennett ever become All-Stars, but rookie control for 2 #1 picks is a healthy haul. They should look to dump Pekovic, but I'm not sure who is interested right now and if Flip will go in that direction.

And the Cavs came out pretty well too- Wiggins is a blow, but Love is better than Bennett will likely ever be as a stretch 4. The pick will probably be in the 20s and they didn't move Waiters or Thompson (a LeBron favorite). Find a ring chasing big with some tread on the tires and they are in great shape.

Looks like the Sixers are getting Bennett and the Wolves are getting Thad Young.

Damn! Bennett may break a record for number of teams he has on his resume.

He's been hyped as "Next" since his freshman year of high school

Hasn't even played a minute in the league

That's the thing, they weren't getting Klay. Even if they were, it's debatable if Barnes, Lee, Thompson is a better package than Bennett/Young, Wiggins, and a 1st.
