What's the best way to fake your own death?

Thinking about this at work:
Let's say that you really done fricked up and needed to fake your own death. What's the best way to do it?
How do the pros do it? Dig up a corpse, put it in a car an light it on fire?

Get your pilots license, fly south into the GOM, bail out at a predetermined spot to a boat with the plane heading locked in dead south.

Yeah, the death faking part isn't that hard. It's the starting over with an ironclad new identity that would be almost impossible.

Yeah. How do you get a new social security card and passport? What do you do about your resume etc?

The fishing one is probably the best bet so far. Anything where you die in such a way that they don't expect to find you, and it's easier to start a new life in another country that it would be in this one. As with anything, the more money you have, the better your chances.

Let people know you're having problems. Take out a boat. Leave pills and booze on boat with a suicide note. Have someone pick you up. Never go back to that state again.
